I did not recieve the mattress, my 5'-0" wife cannot handle the old mattress removal. I am working out of state and had to communicate with them by phone.
White glove delivery could not remove the old mattress because of a wine stain creating a bio hazard and requested that I wrap it in plastic.
I asked them if they had the required plastic?
The delivery service said no we do not have plastic.
I said, I bet this happens a lot then.
Why is this not mentioned in the white glove directions?
I read over the terms and conditions multiple times, all that is mentioned is let us know if there are stairs, and please clear a pathway for delivery.

The mattress itself is very comfortable, although it does take some time to adapt (which is ironic given the name). I appreciate how the mattress supports my joints; I have a hypermobility condition that can make sleeping quite uncomfortable. However, I've never sweat more while sleeping in my entire life than I have in the month I've had this mattress. It wakes me up every night, drenched in sweat. Good thing I got a king so I can roll to the other side, but… I expected a life-changing experience and sleep worse than I did with my old mattress. I'm very close to having them come take it away if I can't figure out a cooling solution - but it's hard to shell out even more to cool an already expensive mattress, that should be top of the line on its own.

Just getting used to it--it's been about a month. So far, we both love it. 2 separate twin XL mattresses. Each with our own control. Able to lay in bed and sleep in our own comfort zone. Not cheap but if it holds up and lasts as long as expected, and allows us to sleep comfortably, it will be a great purchase.

This mattress has been the worst purchase in my life. It was expensive and it took 3 months to feel comfortable. It remained comfortable for 4 months and then created such discomfort in my body; I slept better and felt better after sleeping on an air mattress on the floor. It's only sagging 1/2 inch so it's not covered under warranty until it sags 3/4 of an inch. It's less than 1year old. Worst warranty and product guarantee ever. If I had looked on FBMarketplace before purchasing and saw how many were for sale I would have been clued in not to buy TempurPedic.

Mattress is amazing, however the 3rd party shipping is horrible. First delivery i was missing the mattress and only got a box spring and an opened box dirty mattress protector. Second delivery over a month later was finally my mattress. Not sure what happened to the first mattress that shipped.

We've always owned tempurpedic mattresses, and when our last one finally died after MANY years, we decided to try one of the newer versions. Its just as good, if not better than the one we just retired. No back pain, perfect support, and the peace of mind in a quality product.

The whole delivery process is terrible. They give you a two hour delivery window the night before so you can't plan anything all day. Then they're late anyway and when they miss the delivery; you have to reschedule and they put you at the back of the line again. The customer service person to talk to has absolutely no more information than you have via their stupid automated texts. And then if you want to just cancel the order, they charge $175.

After six months of trying to make the TEMPUR-LuxeAdapt Soft work, we have finally given up and purchased a different mattress.
The biggest problem people should know about is how dramatically room temperature affects this mattress. We found that we had to keep our bedroom at a warmer temperature in the evening just to get the foam soft enough that getting into bed wasn't uncomfortable. Once warm, the mattress becomes softer and conforming.
Unfortunately, that creates another problem: this mattress sleeps hot. We have a TEMPUR-Pedic smart base/bed system, and it consistently indicated that our bedroom was too warm. It wasn't until we reduced the overnight temperature to about 64°F that the system stopped complaining about the room temperature. We also found that 64°F was about where we stopped waking up uncomfortably hot during the night.
But at that temperature, the mattress gradually becomes extremely firm again.
So our nightly routine essentially became: keep the room warm enough before bedtime to make the mattress soft and conforming, then cool the room substantially so we don't overheat while sleeping. The mattress initially softens and allows my body to sink into it-too much in my case, which leaves my spine poorly aligned-and then, as the room cools overnight, the foam becomes increasingly hard while my body is already settled into that position.
By morning, the mattress feels rock-like and my back is miserable.
I have significant pre-existing back issues, so I certainly don't expect any mattress to cure my back. What I do expect is for a mattress not to make it substantially worse. With this mattress, I routinely wake with severe upper-back, neck and shoulder pain. It can take until 1–3 PM for my back to recover, despite extensive stretching, walking and using a heating pad. My lower back also suffers, despite trying every single adjustment conceivable (including using the lumbar support).
I absolutely cannot recommend this bed for anyone who has any back issues, or if you live somewhere that is even slightly warm, or if you live anywhere that is even slightly cold.
Before purchasing the LuxeAdapt Soft, we had the Medium Hybrid from the same TEMPUR-Pedic line. It had the same rock-like quality, only substantially worse. I actually preferred sleeping on our couch while we waited for the exchange.
After six months, the only positive thing I can say about the LuxeAdapt Soft is that when the bedroom is warm enough, the mattress does initially feel pleasantly soft when you lie down. Unfortunately, for us, that softness doesn't solve the support problem, and it doesn't remain consistent once the room is cooled to a comfortable sleeping temperature.
I wish I had understood before purchasing just how temperature-dependent TEMPUR material is in actual overnight use. A mattress whose feel changes this substantially depending on whether the bedroom is warm or cool simply does not work for us.

I bought this mattress 6 years ago. The sales person said that if anything goes wrong to contact support, and they will send a replacement mattress, no questions asked, as long as it's in the 10-year warranty window. 6 years into owning the mattress, it started sagging causing hip and back pain every morning. I contacted support, and after many back and forth emails (because you can't talk to anyone on the phone), due to a small liquid stain that was caused by a faulty mattress pad that they provided, they're saying the warranty does not apply. What happened to getting a replacement no questions asked? I've owned two Tempur Pedic mattresses in my life, loved the first one, loved this one at first, but I will never buy another Tempur Pedic product after this experience.

I bought the Ergo-PLUS Base and a tempur-Contour Elite mattress after a terrible car accident just over 10 years ago and at that time it was just what I needed for all of my injuries. I have had to sleep on my back since the accident. As time went on, I felt like I was in a hallow in the middle of the mattress and it was not feeling as comfortable, but I could not get it exchanged so I made the change myself to the Tempur-LuxeAdapt Soft and I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!! From the very first night I slept on it I have been soo comfortable. It is soft yet it has plenty of support. Even my shoulders feel better in the morning. I am sleeping just fine. I am sooooo very happy that I made the switch! I wish they had this mattress 10 years ago!

I have owned this mattress for one month and have experienced the best sleep of my life! I had to sleep in a chair, sitting up, for the past five years due to back pain. Prior to owning this bed, I would be unable to move for the first 45 minutes after waking up unless I slept sitting up. Now I sleep comfortably in bed and am pain free in the morning. Highly recommend!!!

To be honest the first 2 nights I could hardly sleep in this bed, it was so hard I thought there is no way we would be keeping it. I was in physical pain. But it has broken in and softened up quite a bit and now we are getting good sleep. I'm still not 100% sure it's the exact feel we had in the showroom, but it's getting SO much better!

They sent me my brand new mattress with an inch deep hole in the middle. Even without that the mattress would have been horrible. Way too soft and literally zero lower back support.
Instead of quickly sending me a different non defective mattress they made me go through the arduous and long warranty process.
Then they made me pay $190 for shipping! If that wasn't bad enough, a full week later and they still haven't shipped it. For six weeks I've been sleeping on a 20 year old twin mattress on my floor while my husband sleeps on the sofa.
It's just terrible customer service to put someone through this long process who just bought a very expensive mattress, make me pay $190 for their mistake, then take forever to ship the replacement.
This is my second tempurpedic in 11 years but it will definitely be my last.

I received the mattress on August 17. The smell was so terrible that I couldn't sleep on it until September 9, after covering it with a tempur-pedic mattress protector. Since I've only slept on it for one night, I can't give any further information.

I was dreading choosing a new mattress - so many brands now, coils and foam, how soft to get. After many Google searches, I kept coming back to Tempur Pedic, which so many people and reviews called "the gold standard". After seeing the sale price for the previous generation Luxe Adapt mattress, I decided to go with Tempur Pedic. It was definitely the right choice! Definitely sleeping better BUT...EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED that in order to preserve the warranty you are required to buy the Slumbercool mattress protector which says 'keeps MATTRESS cool and dry'. I assume it does but takes away every bit of the cool feel we felt when we tried the bare mattress in the showroom. Like our original Tempur-Pedic, it absorbs so much of your body heat that it's almost like an alarm clock waking you up around seven hours if heat isn't what you need for your best sleep. Be sure you understand the exact features of the model you choose.
I'm not going to give a separate review of the Tempur-Adapt ProLo Queen Pillow made with the same covering as the mattress which has helped my neck issues a lot but is no better than any other allegedly cooling product. Once you put a pillowcase on it, you don't feel the cool at all.
BEWARE if you buy from a furniture store selling these pillows, check the Tempur-Pedic website before you go. If you need more than one, the store didn't offer buy one get one free that the Tempur-Pedic website offered.

The mattress is ok but nothing special, and likely over-priced. In hindsight it is worth shopping around. I had initially selected a medium-firm mattress and realized that this was too firm. Once I had decided to switch this to a softer option, it took several weeks of expediting to actually get the desired (soft) product. The delivery service is excellent and they provide good communication and arrive when advised. (It is worth noting that this service is likely sub-contracted from Tempur-Pedic.) The challenge is with the Tempur-Pedic office who are in no hurry to rectify the situation and charged a higher fee to close-out. At the end of the day: disappointed.

I am totally unhappy with this mattress because it traps heat, and I cannot sleep, even with the AC at 68 degrees. I wish the salesman had known this when he sold me this mattress, or I never would have chosen this model. I tried to exchange it in the 90-day period, but the salesman didn't call me back (he was no longer employed), and now they won't do anything. For an investment this large, I think they should offer me some kind of help.

The product provides a good, solid night's sleep. My husband wakes up rested and less achy. For me personally, I had NO idea that putting regular sheets on this mattress would be like weight lifting an elephant. It's a tremendously heavy mattress that I know we will be unable to rotate as this mattress is a dead weight.
I feel like we've bought a very expensive, heavy, fishing weight that requires headstands and huge muscles to make a simple sheet change.

This is my third Tempurpedic bed, and I bought one for my daughter and another for my cabin. This is the only bed on which I can get a good night of sleep. I suffer from back and neck pain, and have had two spinal surgeries so far. This bed is my answer to prayer.

The warranty process was more time consuming and than in my opinion should be.
Had to make several calls and could not speak to anyone to discuss how to file a claim.
Filed claim but still could not get anyone for questions,
Made additional calls until I received an email with a phone number. This number finally got me to a representative, by that time I was wondering why I bought the mattress and base.
Still a process to get the part to determine that it was this part, thank goodness it was and did not have to prolong claim process.
Only good out of filing warranty claim was the customer service representative was very nice and understanding.
